This course will give an in-depth review of various cancer treatment options and plans, palliative options and clinical trials process available to cancer patients. It also acclimates one to the coding guidelines for surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal, alternative, palliative and other treatment coding. Upon completion students should be able to code oncology treatments and procedures using appropriate standard setter guidelines. 3/0/0
