MRP-140 — MRI Physics and Equipment
Taught through a hybrid format, the content is designed to impart understanding of the physical principles and instrumentation involved in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The historical development and evolution of MRI is reviewed. Physics topics include magnetism, magnets shim systems, radiofrequency systems, gradients systems used in forming the image, data acquisition and manipulation techniques, k-space mapping and filling, fast Fourier transformation and post processing techniques will be explained. MRI systems and operations will be explored with full coverage of the imaging parameters and imaging options to include image quality, contrast, artifacts, and quality assurance. 3/0/0
