PAR-243 — Paramedic Clinical Practice IV

This clinical course continues to introduce students to patient experiences in the hospital clinical environment. Students will demonstrate the concepts and understanding of paramedic clinical skills. Students will continue to be introduced to higher acuity areas such as adult emergency departments and specialty care areas such as the pediatric ED, Childrens specialized hospitals, special care nursery, neonatal ICU, labor and delivery, behavioral health and specialty ICUs such as trauma, burn, and neurological. Students are assigned a preceptor who is responsible to observe and assess performance. Travel to off-site clinical affiliates is required. 0/0/8
