Liberal Arts & Sciences: Biology Option; AS
This program prepares students to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a baccalaureate degree with a major in one of the following areas: biology, microbiology, biotechnology, physical therapy, pharmacology or physician assistant programs. Students in this program engage in a broad-based liberal arts and sciences curriculum that is typical of freshman and sophomore biology majors at a four-year institution. Graduates of baccalaureate biology programs can enter professional programs such as medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, chiropractic medicine, and physical or occupational therapy.
