ARTS 101 — Art Appreciation
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060 or ENGL 100 This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of creating art and a basic understanding of past and recent painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, digital and other media. Students will examine the visual elements and design principles necessary to create works of art. Students will discern a work's subject matter and content through writing criticisms of art or working hands on exploring the creative process.
