ARTS 105 — Drawing I
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credit Hours Prerequisites: None This is an introductory course that is part of the formal foundation for studying art. This class will focus on the mastery of drawing techniques such as gesture, contour and modeling with light. The students will learn the techniques of working with pencil, charcoal, pen, ink and pastels. The basic elements of art and compositional strategies will be explored. Studio hours to be announced. Some supplies are to be furnished by the student.
