BIOL 112 — Introduction to Marine Biology
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Lab Hours, 4 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060 Course Fees: C,H Introduction to Marine Biology is a one-semester course involving the study of the interaction between marine organisms and their physical environment. Topics studied will include marine ecosystems, diversity of marine organisms and the ocean environment, as well as the importance of marine habitats to terrestrial habitats. Laboratory work will include applied science and identification of marine organisms. This course fulfills the requirements of a general education lab science course.
