BIOL 203 — Microbiology
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Lab Hours, 4 Credits Prerequisites: BIOL 102 & BIOL 106 Course Fees: D, H This course involves the study of the structure and function of microorganisms in nature and disease including viruses, rickettsiae, bacteria, fungi, and protozoa. Molecular aspects of nutrition and metabolism are considered. Emphasis is placed on lab techniques associated with the growth and development of microbial systems including pure culture study and disinfection.
