CCMA 103 — Structure of the Human Body I

2 Lecture Hours, 2 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060 or ENGL 100; CCMA 103 requires a final grade of "C" or better to progress in the CCMA Program This course introduces the medical assistant student to the fundamental structure of the human body. The medical terminology as it applies to each body system along with directional terms are integrated throughout course. Diagnostic procedures, disease and treatments related to the circulatory, lymphatic, integumentary, urinary, and immune systems are covered in this course.
