CCMA 125 — Fundamentals of Phlebotomy
2 Lecture Hours, 2 Lab Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: C or better in CCMA 101 and CCMA 103 Corequisites: CCMA 104 and CCMA 128 This course is designed to prepare students in fundamental aspects of phlebotomy training including collecting, transporting, handling, and processing blood specimens for analysis while adhering to all aspects of quality control and infection control safety policies. This course assists students in preparation for the national credentialing exams for entry-level medical assistants.
