COMM 217 — Journalism II
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: COMM 201 This course provides practical experience in journalism. Students serve as staff members of the campus newspaper and gain practical experience in gathering news; writing leads, news stories and headlines; editing; proofreading; and learning other aspects of newspaper publication. Students also attend seminars on journalism and work on special projects to be assigned by the instructor.
