3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060 or ENGL 100 This is an overview of community policing and its major components (problem-solving, community partnerships and organizational transformation) and its systematic approach to policing as a philosophy or a program. It introduces theories practiced today with the transformation of police services. In addition, it covers new developments affecting crime analysis and forecasting.
