CRIM 253 — Criminal Justice Internship

1 Lecture Hours, 150 Coop Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: CRJ Major; 3.0 GPA; Criminal history background check; approved electives This internship is for Criminal Justice majors. It is designed to familiarize students with the philosophies and practices of criminal justice while serving as unpaid interns in host agencies. The internship will provide students the opportunity to interact with criminal justice professionals in a work environment. The purpose of the course is to facilitate student experience in the nexus between criminal justice theory and practice. Internships will be completed in one approved setting limited to federal and state criminal justice agencies.
