DATA 301 — Research Methods and Ethical Issues in Data Analysis
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisite: MATH 103 and Enrollment in Advanced Studies 3+1 Program This course introduces students to the scientific method of inquiry. Students will gain an understanding of the principles and procedures of the scientific process of investigation and various methodologies of data collection and analysis. Students will learn to read and summarize published research, to critically analyze and evaluate research findings, and recognize ethical concerns associated with research.
