DMSI 104 — Cross Section Anatomy

2 Lecture Hours, 2 Credits Prerequisites: Admission to the DMS Program Corequisite: BIOL 105 This course introduces students to basic human anatomy and how different anatomical structures are situated into relation to one another. Utilizing 2-dimensional images of 3-dimensional concepts, students will learn to identify and describe the orientation of human organs in a variety of scan planes. Emphasis will be placed on body cavities, abdominal organs, and great vessels.
