DMSI 110 — Abdominal Sonography I
2 Lecture Hours, 2 Credits Prerequisites: DMSI 104 This course covers anatomy and physiology as it relates to the field of sonography. Normal anatomy and anatomical variants are discussed focusing primarily on great vessels, liver, biliary system, pancreas, urinary system, and spleen. Students will learn to correlate patient data as it pertains to each organ, including lab values, patient history, prior imaging, and normal anatomical landmarks.
