EDUC 218 — Introduction to Trauma Informed Practices to Promote
Social Emotional Development in Educational Settings 3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisite: PSYC 101 The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction of trauma- informed practices in educational settings that support the social emotional development of all students. Students will begin to explore various methods of trauma informed practices, that includes social emotional development, and how to address systemically through whole school initiatives, individual classrooms, and across content areas.
