EDUC 219 — Infant/Toddler Field Experience
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: PSYC 103; EDUC 203 and EDUC 102 This course is part of the Infant/Toddler credential and is intended for use by professionals and paraprofessionals working in the field of infant/toddler care in all settings, including center-based care, family childcare programs, and in community-based programs that support infant, toddlers, and their families. Through a combination of classroom instruction (2 credit hours) and field experience (1 credit hour) students will have the opportunity to apply new skills and strategies in the Infant/ Toddler classroom. A college instructor will provide on-site supervision throughout the field experience that will coordinate with supplemental instruction in the college classroom.
