EDUC 318 — Positive Behavior Support Systems

2 Lecture Hours, 2 Credits Prerequisites: A.S. in Education; Enrollment into the 3+1 Program This course exposes teacher candidates to a variety of theoretical approaches in behavior support of students. Students will develop an individual support plan and explore multi-tiered class-wide and schoolwide behavior support systems to support all students. Teacher candidates will also have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate competencies related to positive behavior intervention supports in conjunction with a required field experience component.
