3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Pre or Corequisites: PHYS 201 This course for students of engineering includes analysis of static particles and rigid bodies under applied forces. This study of force systems in equilibrium includes resultant of forces in two- or three- dimensional space, free-body diagrams, centroids, analysis of structure, friction, moment of inertia and work.
