ENVS 101 — Environmental Science
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Lab Hours, 4 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060, MATH 050 or MATH 051 Course Fees: C,H An introductory course in the fundamental concepts of environmental science. Topics discussed include biogeochemical cycles, energy cycles and the effects of chemical and radioactive substances on the air, water, and land masses of the earth. Laboratory activities will focus on quantification and assessment of environmental parameters in local aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
