ETEC 244 — Instrumentation & Measurement

2 Lecture Hours, 2 Lab Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisite: MATH.130 or ETEC 107 This course provides students with necessary skills to conduct reliable measurements for engineering and technology practice using a variety of monitoring, engineering, and manufacturing instrumentation. Students will examine measurement errors, measurement uncertainty, and instrumentation limits on errors. Additionally, the course demonstrates the uses and testing methods of instrument transformers, operational amplifiers, rectifiers, filters, and oscillators. An instrumentation and measurement background provides the foundation needed to be effective in a wide range of application environments. Exercise Science
