3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060 A study of world music from antiquity through the 20th century concentrating on socio-cultural influences, function of music, style and performance practice from Western and Eastern European countries, Latin America, and United States. Music for voices and instruments will be studied and the composers who wrote the music.
