NURS 105 — Introduction to Nursing Informatics
1 Lecture Hours, 1 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060 or ENGL 100 and NURS 110 or Registered Nurse license or Licensed Practical Nurse license This course will introduce the student to important informatics tools that are currently being utilized in healthcare to ensure safe and quality care. Electronic Health Records (EHR), telehealth, personal reference management software, Evidence-Based Practice (EBP), and HIPAA will be emphasized.
