3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 100 or ENGL 060 and a Lab Science This course is a survey of the philosophy and history of science from Aristotle to Newton to current world views. Topics may include ancient and medieval philosophies, the structure of the universe, development of scientific laws, Newtonian physics, natural selection, and the development of new physics of the early twentieth century.
