PHYS 110 — Principles of Science I
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Lab Hours, 4 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060, MATH 050 Course Fees: C, H Introduces the non-science major to selected topics in geology, astronomy, physics, and chemistry. Among the topics discussed will be atoms, molecules, chemical change, the solar system, the planet earth, igneous rocks, sedimentary rocks, and metamorphic rocks. The laboratory section will provide experiments in selected topics in geology, astronomy, physics, and chemistry to support the lecture section.
