PSYC 300 — Introduction to Sport & Exercise Psychology

3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: PSYC 101; Acceptance into the 3+1 Program; An RCSJ associate degree. This course examines theories and models of psychology and how they relate to human performance. Topics include personality, exercise environments, motivation, and arousal. Stress and anxiety, group processes, leadership and psychological well-being and their impact on sport and exercise is also discussed.
