PSYC 310 — Psychology as a Profession and Practice
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: Acceptance into the 3+1 Program; An RCSJ associate degree. Students will be introduced to applied areas in psychology, gaining knowledge about how psychological information is used to impact people’s lives. The ways in which psychological knowledge are applied to understand individuals and the social world will be examined. Career paths in psychology and preparation for a career in psychology or other associated disciplines will be explored.
