PTAS 108 — Therapeutic Exercise
2 Lecture Hours, 2 Credits Prerequisites: “C+” or better in BIOL 105 Pre/Corequisites: “C+” or better in PTAS 110 & PTAS 115 This course will examine the fundamentals and physiological effects of therapeutic exercise and techniques. Students will be introduced to the principles of range of motion, stretching, resistance, aerobic, and balance exercise. This course will also identify methods for physical therapy professionals to be effective change agents in the promotion of public health, prevention, and wellness initiatives.
