RADT 104 — Radiographic Exposure I

2 Lecture Hours, 2 Credits Corequisites: RADT 101, RADT 102, RADT 103, BI 106 This course provides a foundational understanding of radiation concepts and introduces the student radiographer to the principles of the x-ray tube, and x-ray production. Emphasis will be placed on the primary factors needed to produce a radiograph and their effect on image quality. Students will explore the photographic and geometric properties of radiographic images. Participants will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to comprehend the fundamentals of radiologic imaging and apply them in clinical contexts.
