RELG 102 — World Religions
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060 or ENGL 100 Presents an intro to the major religions of the world. Utilizing both a description and interpretative approach, the origin and historical development of each religion is examined with particular attention given to the impact of beliefs and practices in the daily life of the ordinary believer. The survey includes Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. General Education Category: Humanities – Humanistic Perspective (HUP).
