SOCI 220 — Sociology of Juvenile Delinquency
3 Lecture Hours, 3 Credits Prerequisites: ENGL 060 or ENGL 100 This is an orientation to the divergent theories, philosophies, values, attitudes, and historical events that have contributed to the operation of modern juvenile justice systems; causes and attempts to prevent delinquency; identification of delinquents; detention and treatment methods; adjudication and disposition including related social agencies.
