VETT 220 — Laboratory and Exotic Medicine and Nursing Care

2 Lecture Hours, 90 Clinical Hours, 4 Credits Prerequisite: VETT 115 This course is designed to acquaint the student with laboratory and exotic pet husbandry fundamentals, nutrition, common diseases, zoonotic disease medicine, and treatment. In a clinical setting, students will be able to discuss the recommended diet and habitat for each species covered as well as restraint and treatment techniques, common diseases and zoonotic concerns for pet owners and the veterinary health care team.
