WIND 115 — Wind Power Operations and Maintenance

3 Lecture Hours, 3 Lab Hours, 4 Credits Prerequisites: ETEC 240 – Pneumatic and Hydraulic Automation This course is designed to provide the operational and mechanical skills required for an entry-level technical position in the global wind industry. It will also provide individuals with the knowledge and skills required for the operation and maintenance of wind energy projects. From small commercial and municipal turbines to utility-scale wind farms located offshore or land-based. Laboratory work will include maintenance operation, cooling/heating systems, and programmable logic controllers.
