While focusing on the functions, structures and processes of the different body systems you will learn about anatomical positions, cells, muscle fibers, bones and joints, the spinal cord, sensory receptors, hormones, the major organs and digestion. Other topics covered in this course include healing, immunity, aging, the body’s adaptive responses to sickness and disease, the menstrual cycle, and reproduction. 3 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 60 hours.
