APPH 226 - Apparatus and Image Management APPH 226 - Apparatus and Image Management Description This course introduces the principles of X-ray image formation and manipulation, examining how radiographic equipment works and how the X-ray beam is affected. Focus will be placed on optimizing image quality by manipulating various parameters and variables. Application of theory and hands-on work with X-rays will encourage the critical thinking skills required to optimize image quality, and to safely operate the imaging equipment. 3 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 88 hours.
