APSC 215 - Applied Physics for Instrumentation APSC 215 - Applied Physics for Instrumentation Description The fundamentals of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics are explored and applied to problems encountered in industrial instrumentation applications. Topics include: viscosity, buoyancy, pressure, Bernoulli’s equation, pumps, as well as phase behaviour, steam tables and heat transfer. Theoretical concepts are reinforced through related lab activities. 1.5 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 60 hours. Corequisites INST 202 INST 257
