APSC 252 - Applied Physics for Instrumentation APSC 252 - Applied Physics for Instrumentation Description The fundamentals of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics are explored and applied to problems encountered in industrial instrumentation applications. Topics include: viscosity, buoyancy, pressure, Bernoulli’s equation, pumps, as well as phase behaviour, steam tables and heat transfer. Theoretical concepts are reinforced through related lab activities. 3 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 60 hours.
