BFIN 3010 - Intermediate Finance I BFIN 3010 - Intermediate Finance I Description This course provides an in-depth knowledge of the Canadian securities marketplace. You will learn about the types, features, pricing and trading of fixed-income securities while using relevant software. You will also learn about the Canadian securities industry and the regulatory environment, market and economic events that impact investment performance, and how to analyze corporate financial statements. An investigation of financial instruments such as fixed income, equities, managed products and structured products will also be undertaken. In addition, fee based accounts and derivatives are included in this course. 3 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 60 hours.
