In the concrete component of this course, you will examine batching, transporting, placing, finishing and curing quality concrete. You will also consider the factors that contribute to quality concrete. The soil component of the course includes the study of soil types, properties and classification of soil, shallow and deep foundations and excavation concerns. 1.5 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 53 hours.
