Topics include the role of the dental assistant, pain control, isolation techniques, instrumentation, dental liners, bases, matrices, and wedges. These foundational skills will support students’ ability to explore additional elements of restorative procedures in more depth subsequently in the program. 3 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 60 hours.
