DSGN303 — Mechanical Systems Design
DSGN 303 - Mechanical Systems Design DSGN 303 - Mechanical Systems Design Description In Mechanical System Design, the learner will explore the concepts of renewable energy resources and their utilization in green and efficient Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems. The learner will design simple systems for power generation, and complete simple HVAC systems for buildings by selecting the type and size of the proper equipment based on heating/cooling loads. The learners will practice project management concepts and conduct a life cycle cost analysis as part of their work. 3 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 90 hours.
