EMSI 300 - Modern Automation Integration EMSI 300 - Modern Automation Integration Description Industry 4.0 (or “Internet of Things”) is a new global standard impacting Manufacturing and Automation, guiding the development of “smart factories” where the physical, virtual, and communications systems are all tightly intertwined. In this course, students will be exposed to the basic elements of Industry 4.0 including machine simulations, information gathering, presenting devices, and networking fundamentals. 1.5 Credits Time Guidelines The standard instructional time for this course is 60 hours.
