Topics include healthcare delivery systems, health record content and structure, healthcare data and documentation standards, legal and ethical responsibilities, classification and coding systems, and health information technologies. Emphasis is placed on the role of health information professionals in ensuring data quality, confidentiality, and compliance within healthcare organizations.
