PTAP-1611 Clinical Neuroanatomy 3 PTAP-1611 Clinical Neuroanatomy 3 This course introduces the structure and function of the nervous system with an emphasis on clinical application for the physical therapist assistant. Students will explore the central and peripheral nervous systems, sensory and motor processes, and motor control and learning across the lifespan. Content highlights the neurological basis of movement, the impact of health and fitness on motor performance, and the clinical role of the physical therapist assistant in recognizing neurological conditions, contributing to assessment, and supporting safe, effective patient care within the plan of care.
