PTAP-2221 Career Readiness 3 PTAP-2221 Career Readiness 3 This course introduces career development, lifelong learning opportunities, and the professional expectations of the physical therapist assistant. Emphasis is placed on career planning, leadership, interprofessional collaboration, legal and ethical practice standards, and federal and state regulations related to patient care. Students will examine the PTA’s role in organizational operations and professional practice and will engage in activities that promote advocacy, community involvement, and professional growth in accordance with the Guide for Conduct of the Physical Therapist Assistant and the Standards of Ethical Conduct as outlined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
