SURG-2450 Surgical Technology Clinical IV 3 SURG-2450 Surgical Technology Clinical IV 3 Student will independently 1st scrub majority of cases with a minimal number of 2nd scrub cases, with a preceptor observing. The student will have accumulated a minimum total of 120 cases from all clinical courses combined. This final-level clinical course provides students with the opportunity to independently perform first scrubs on the majority of surgical cases, with minimal second scrubbing required. Under the observation of a preceptor, students will demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of surgical preparation, technique, and aseptic practice. By the end of the course, students will have completed a minimum of 120 cases minimum across all clinical courses, showcasing their readiness to transition to professional practice. This course is designed to refine skills, enhance confidence, and ensure students are fully prepared for the demands of a career in surgery.
