SURG-2550 Advanced Review in Perioperative 2 SURG-2550 Advanced Review in Perioperative 2 This course is designed to prepare students for success on the national certification examination for surgical technologists. Emphasis is placed on reviewing and reinforcing knowledge of perioperative care, including preoperative preparation, intraoperative procedures, and postoperative responsibilities. Additional focus is given to ancillary duties, equipment sterilization and maintenance, and foundational concepts in anatomy and physiology as they relate to surgical practice.
