ALTF121 — Biofuels I
Surveys the range of feedstocks that can be used to make biofuels and bioenergy. Students will learn how to safely make ethanol and biodiesel from plants and vegetable oil sources and will focus on the biology and processing of biomass using several types of bioreactors. Students will use various feedstocks and learn how to use various monitoring and analytical tools. Safe practices will be taught and enforced throughout the course. Graded: Letter Grade. pring. Three
