ARTS2315L — Ceramics: Wheel Throwing II
Intermediate level course that offers a study of current approaches to the potter’s wheel as a tool for creating functional and sculptural forms. The foundation of this course is a series of sequential projects designed to increase a student’s skill level on the wheel. Functional as well as sculptural concepts will be investigated. An introduction to clay bodies and glazes augments the disciplined throwing abilities of students who already have a strong foundation in wheel-throwing basics.
